  1. Why is TexSlide no longer activated after I deleted the software configuration folder and reinstalled?

When you purchase and activate TexSlide, the license files are saved as license.id and license.lic in the software configuration directory. If you delete the entire configuration folder, these license files are also deleted. You will need to reactivate TexSlide using the original License Key you received at purchase, provided it is still active.

  1. If the TexSlide used to create the slides is activated, but the version used for presentation is deactivated, can all rendered formulas still be displayed normally?

Yes, they can be displayed normally. All formulas and charts compiled in the activated state will maintain their original high-definition display even when presented in an deactivated TexSlide environment. However, if the free version’s formula quota has been exceeded, you will not be able to add new formulas in the deactivated version.

  1. If I save slides created in TexSlide as PowerPoint (PPTX) format and present them in PowerPoint, will the rendering effects of formulas and charts be preserved, and will animation effects be retained?

The preservation of effects depends on the rendered LaTeX content. Display formulas will be perfectly preserved (as they are embedded as SVG vector graphics), and most vector charts will be retained. However, inline formulas will not be preserved (as they are embedded as text). Basic animation effects can be preserved. For perfect presentation results, we recommend saving in ODP format and presenting with TexSlide.
